Anchalik Jana Kalyan Anusthan

AJKA,   a non-profit making community based organization was established in Jharsuguda districts in Odisha state, India and working simultaneously in the districts of Sambalpur, Deogarh and Sundargarh, for the development of undeserved communities. AJKA as a community based humanitarian organization works in various development fields with disadvantaged segments of society.  Its development activities focus principally on women, children, adolescent groups, vulnerable youths, forest dwellers, migrants under distress condition, slum dwellers and the poorest of the poor who have no opportunity to participate, contribute or benefit from their economies. Thus, AJKA’s efforts are to improve the quality of lives of tribal, rural and semi urban poor in Odisha, with a primary focus to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, ensuring social inclusion and justice, good governance and citizen’s right.  Its aim is to therefore create an opportunity for these people to be included in a world that they have largely been left out from.  AJKA as humanitarian organization addresses discrimination and inequality among the children with special needs by helping them to unfold their highest potential physically, emotionally, mentally, and psychologically.
